The White Lotus Season 3: What Would Each Character Own?

The White Lotus Season 3: What Would Each Character Own?

The White Lotus has captivated audiences with its sharp satire and exploration of wealth, privilege, and the human condition. Season 3 introduces a new cast of characters, each navigating their own ambitions, insecurities, and personal struggles. As their stories unfold, we gain deeper insight into their personalities, not just through their actions, but through the way they interact with status and material wealth. Inspired by these characters, we’ve curated a list of items and brands that we think reflect who they are, revealing deeper layers of their identities through the objects they would choose to surround themselves with.

Jaclyn – The Hollywood It-Girl – Missoni Home Throw

Jaclyn Lemon thrives on visibility, her name, her money, her status, all effortlessly communicated through her lifestyle choices. A Missoni Home throw is the perfect extension of her persona: instantly recognizable, a status symbol wrapped in vibrant, unmistakable patterns. She wouldn’t settle for something subtle; instead, she’d choose a piece that announces her presence in a room without her even having to speak. The interplay of bold hues and the iconic zigzag pattern mirrors her own need to stand out, making her home feel like an extension of her red carpet appearances. To Jaclyn, luxury is not just about quality but about being seen owning it.

Belinda – The Wellness Devotee – Acqua dell’Elba Diffuser

Belinda, forever catering to the needs of others, craves tranquillity in her personal space, a refuge from the emotional labour she constantly performs. The Acqua dell’Elba diffuser transports her to a serene seaside escape, allowing her to momentarily dissolve the stresses of her job and unwanted attention from a familiar face. With its soft blue hues and ocean-inspired scents, it gives her the illusion of an untouched paradise, a place where she is finally just herself. Unlike the luxury-seekers around her, she doesn’t want to impress, she wants to disappear into an atmosphere of calm.

Rick – The Man Defined by Memory – Luxury Picture Frame

Rick keeps a single Chrisofle picture frame in his home, more valuable to him than any other possession. Inside it is a photograph of his mother and father, a frozen moment from a past he can never return to but refuses to let go of. The picture frame itself is elegant, understated, but unmistakably expensive, a quiet symbol of the life he was meant to have. Unlike the other objects in his home, this one isn’t about status or appearances; it’s about memory. He keeps it close, not just to honour the parents he lost, but to remind himself of the childhood that was stolen from him. The absence of a father figure, taken away by someone else’s actions, shaped him in ways he still doesn’t fully understand. But one thing is clear, this framed image is more than just a keepsake, it’s a reminder of why he can never let go of the past and why every step forward is still, in some way, a step back toward reclaiming what was his.

Chelsea – The Fixer with a Fragile Heart - Baccarat Crystal Bird

Chelsea is a fixer, a nurturer, drawn to the broken and convinced that love is something she can pour into others to heal them. The Baccarat crystal bird is a poetic reflection of her: delicate yet enduring, beautiful yet burdened by an unspoken weight. Much like the Buddhist tale of the wounded dove, Chelsea instinctively takes in the damaged, believing that those who protect are the true owners of what they save. But as she watches her role with Rick morph from lover to caretaker, she begins to question whether she is healing him or simply delaying his inevitable downfall. The bird, fragile yet symbolic of transformation, sits on her shelf, a reminder that she too, needs to be free.

Laurie – Quality Over Excess- Riedel Glasses

Laurie understands luxury but refuses to be swallowed by it. She has lived in its orbit, been invited to fancy dinners, and yet remains skeptical of anything that feels excessive or performative. Riedel glasses are her perfect balance, high-quality, elegant, but not the kind of thing that screams new money indulgence, unlike her friends. She prefers simple refinement, the kind of glassware that enhances the experience without demanding attention. Laurie is someone who enjoys a fine wine but scoffs at the pretentiousness of wine culture; she’ll opt for a set of Riedel glasses because they do the job well, much like her approach to life.

Tim – The Southern Businessman – Ralph Lauren

Tim is the kind of man who needs his luxury to feel masculine and established, not flashy. Ralph Lauren speaks to his specific brand of old-school, Southern wealth, classic, understated, but expensive. He wouldn’t be caught with “in your face” designer logos, but anyone who knows luxury can recognize the weight of his choices. He is a man of traditions, always showing up in the right places, shaking the right hands, and making sure everyone knows that, even if he isn’t the loudest man in the room, he is certainly one of the most powerful and that is exactly what Ralph Lauren represents to him.

Saxon – The Wellness Nepo Baby – Blendtec Blender

Saxon embodies the type of young man who claims to be deeply invested in his health and wellness but can barely tolerate the habits he forces himself to keep. The Blendtec blender, the absolute peak of smoothie-making machinery, is less about function for him and more about status. It’s not about whether he actually enjoys his daily protein shake, it’s about having the best, the highest-end, the elite version of something even as mundane as blending. He throws in his overpriced supplements, his fruits and veggies, and tells himself he’s at peak performance, never questioning whether he actually enjoys this life or if he’s simply putting on a performance for himself and others.

Piper – The Surface-Level Spiritualist – Jars Ceramistes

Piper intellectualizes Buddhism, finding comfort in its aesthetics, rather than its deeper lifestyle. She is drawn to objects that project a sense of wisdom and inner peace without requiring the discomfort of true introspection. Jars Ceramistes pieces embody this with an organic, minimalist, and authentic styleShe would have them in her home as symbols of a spiritual journey she has yet to embark on, admiring their earthy tones and simplicity. To her, peace is something to be curated rather than experienced, and her space reflects that.

The White Lotus Season 3 has such great storytelling of characters with unpredictable surroundings. While their time at the resort is anything but serene, we believe this curated list captures the essence of each character and the deeper motivations driving them.
